Context. <\/strong>After attending PMDojo<\/a> to learn Fullstack Product Management. I was given the opportunity via referral for a Product Manager position with GitHub. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Problem<\/strong>. A new legislation passes in the United States requiring the use of real (legal) names on internet properties, instead of user handles. You have been asked to help GitHub and users of GitHub meet these requirements, and come up with a plan for executing this. How would you go about scoping the problem, developing a solution, and rolling it out to users?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Goal<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In order to cooperate with the law, Github needs to solve the problem of how to meet the requirements of using real (legal) names on internet properties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Sending via email a reminder to GitHub’s blog post on “GitHub and the CCPA” (California Consumer Privacy Act) — regarding data collection.<\/p>\n<\/div>
